Multiplayer mode (which I have not tested) is for 2 to 4 players on the Internet or your local network.

There are 5 skill levels that let you enjoy as much challenge as you want: Tourist, Easy, Normal, Hard or Serious.

I think that this Serious Sam 2 demo is one of the better free trial online shooter games because here is what you get:

1. You get about 10 different lethal weapons - Like other free demos of online shooter games, you get a sample of the full arsenal.

   In Serious Sam 2, however, these weapons are a step up from your typical selection. Each demo game weapon has unique properties like availability of ammo, power, effective range, load times, number you can carry and more.

   Some game weapons even have the ability to do stuff like target life forms. So, your weapon can home in on a bad guy partially hidden behind an inanimate object. Click on online shooter games to go check out their guns.

   
   

2. A half dozen bad guys to shoot -
   You begin by offing a slow moving robo-droid soldier so that you can start to load up on weapons and ammo. Then... make room for your mouse because you'll be swinging and shooting all over the place.

   You'll be under attack from high-flying, dodging and hiding "floaters". Mix in some more soldiers with a wave of yellow crab-like buggers and here and there a big red crabby guy.

   Now you have your work cut out for you, as you also grab more weapons and ammo and recharge your health meter.

   
   

3. For a free demo game world, this one is nice and big and bright -
   You can shoot through trees and shrubs that partially conceal you and your enemies. Of course, they can shoot you right back, too.

   You are able look beyond walls and ledges and see some of the bad critters that are waiting for you to get to your next obstacle. When you see them, choose the appropriate weapon and pick them off from your vantage point.

   
   

4. I really like the graphics in Serious Sam 2, compared to a lot of other online shooter games -
   The setting is a bright, mostly light colored place called Seriopolis.

   There is a futuristic cityscape background with vehicle traffic and detailed scenery, that forces you to keep alert and wary. What looks like a civilian vehicle in the distance could turn out to be an attacker. An object that moves and kind of glows, may or may not be something that you should check out or pick up.

   
   

5. A fast loading computer game - It is a 250MB game download and it takes a few minutes to install, of course. But, after that, open the game and make your selections and you are playing in seconds.

   
   

6. Quick, easy intuitive game controls - Aim your view and weapon up, down and around with your mouse or arrow keys. Forward with 'W', back up with 'S', left with 'Q' or 'A', right with 'E' or 'D', jump with the 'R' or the 'Spacebar'. Change weapons with the mouse wheel or the 'B'. Crouch with the 'Shift' key.

   
   

7. The music is light, twinkling and non-annoying - Turn up your speakers for the weapons' sounds, too, because they have put some effort into making them unique and realistic.

8. Vehicles - There is at least one vehicle for you to whip around in.

There you have it. You can maybe tell that Serious Sam 2 is one of my favorite demo online shooter games.
